The “Golden Touch” represents my personal "commitment to excellence" with a training philosophy which insures that our "Goldens" have the proper socialization and health care disciplines from birth. We produce sound and healthy puppies whose temperaments are representative of the Golden Retriever standard and all the "Goldens" carry necessary health clearances.
The "Golden Touch" represents the great pride I take in "my commitment of excellence" as well as my background which supports that commitment. I have over 20 years of extensive experience working with dogs in various capacities. This includes responsibilities as a veterinarian technician, former instructor for Sirius Puppy Training Inc, former Captain of Animal Control in San Mateo County, a successful obedience and socialization instructor obtaining numerous AKC working titles on "Goldens" that were home bred, a successful breeder owner of multiple champion Golden Retrievers whose achievements have been recognized by yearly club awards, and the list goes on… and will continue.

Periodically we offer these perfect puppies to the public.
Each Sherwood puppy represents a combination of the best traits of his or her own parents. Each parent is selected by years of experience researching pedigree backgrounds, honest health history, and selecting the true Golden Retriever temperaments to insure your puppy is not only beautiful, healthy, and smart but will bring you years of pure Golden enjoyment.
We are available before and after getting your puppy outlining everything you need to know about raising your puppy to make it the best family companion ever. We have a positive approach to raising a happy healthy and well-behaved dog. We are available to answer all your questions and concerns before bringing your puppy home, and will still be available once your puppy leaves and throughout the adolescent stage, into adulthood and even in to those great senior years.

Sherwood has a 100% guarantee. If for any reason throughout the life of your Sherwood dog, you can no longer provide necessary care and attention for any reason, we would take your dog back to its original home. Conditions apply – of course.
In order to be considered for a puppy, you must complete a puppy adoption application, be interviewed, and be prepared to sign a puppy contract realizing even though we all want that perfect puppy, conditions beyond the breeders control sometimes happen.
